Where does Moonlight Balloons provide decorating services?

We are based in South Florida. We will provide decorating services to all of Palm Beach, Broward, and, Miami-Dade Counties. From Homestead to Fort Pierce including, Hollywood, Cooper City, Davie, Dania, Fort Lauderdale, Oakland Park, Sunrise and Weston.

Do you have minimum orders for decorating?

We do not have a minimum. No job is too small.

How can I hire your services?

The best way to contact us is to give us a call at 954-240-3070 or e-mail us (mlballoons@bellsouth.net), so you can discuss your party decoration needs with one of our professional balloon artists.

Do you have a retail store? What are your hours of operation?

We do not have a retail store and thus do not have regular store hours. We have a studio where we can arrange to set up an appointment to plan and discuss the various options for you event.

How early should I contact you to plan for my event and secure your services?

 In order to allow enough time to work together on the details of your order, we recommend that all jobs be booked/ confirmed at least two week in advance. However, we know that sometimes you unexpectedly plan a party or get-to-together and want to WOW your guest. So just give us a call and we will try to help you.

Do you accept credit cards?

We accept Visa, MasterCard, & American Express.

What are you payment terms for décor work?

$100.00 non-refundable deposit secures the date and the balance is due the day of the event. Payments can be made by credit cards, checks or cash.

Do you offer helium tank rentals?

Moonlight Balloons is a full service event decorating company and thus we do not rent our helium tanks.

Do you charge for delivery, installation, and/or tear down for décor work?

The delivery, set-up/ tear down charges for decorations vary based on location and time frames.

Who will set-up my decoration and how long will it take?

Depending on the size of your order you can expect a team of one to four balloon artists. Depending on the size and design of your decoration, it can take about half an hour to 4 hours for our team to build and set up your balloon decoration.

How long will the decor last?

That depends on the environmental conditions and if the decor is air-filled, or helium filled.   A regular 11″ helium balloon has a lifespan of about 15 hours.  We can extend the float time by use of Hi-Float, a polymer that is added to the balloon prior to inflation.  This can increase the float time by several days. (There is an additional fee for this service)   Air-filled decor can last for days or even weeks under the right conditions

Are balloons biodegradable, or can they be recycled?

There are two types of balloons, foil (sometimes called mylar) and latex. Foil balloons are not biodegradable, but can be recycled. Latex balloons can't be recycled, but are biodegradable.

I don't know what I want; can you help me figure it out?

Absolutely!  When you call Moonlight Balloons we will ask you questions about your event and the purpose of the decor- that is whether you are trying to attract attention to a focal point, or going for an overall ambiance.  If you have already figured out your approximate budget, our designers can help by suggesting packages and decor that match your goals with your specific budget in mind.

What does a typical balloon design cost?

We take pride in creating decorations that will fit every budget. So many exciting balloon designs can be created that the cost depends on many factors.  When we meet, we will talk about type, size and quantity of balloons needed to create your vision.  Other factors we consider when quoting you an estimate are: amount of helium required, balloon support/framing, amount of time needed to set up your décor & if we need to return to pick up any support /framing equipment and tear down of the décor after your party.
